Name of connector on NEMA stepper motor

The connector on the NEMA 17 steppers appears to be a JST XH 2.54mm 6 pin male connector. However, it is not - the pins are a lot closer together.

What type of connector is used on the NEMA 17 steppers ?

Re: Marlin bugfix 2.0 pins_GT2560_v3.h

Vert, thanks for your work on Marlin2_B358.7z

I can't commit changes to source code as this pinout is unique to a dual stepper X axis and dual stepper Y axis CNC machine instead of a 3D printer. The above instructions are indeed correct and work fine if you want the first extruder (E0) in Marlin to ...

GT2560 V3.0 additional endstops

I am using a GT2560 V3.0 board in a MPCNC machine. Is there a way to connect additional endstop limit switches to the board?

RAMPS, MKS GEN L, etc. boards offer Xmin, Xmax, Ymin, Ymax, Zmin, Zmax inputs whereas the GT2560 V3.0 only offers Xmin, Ymin, Zmin it seems.

Re: Blank screen and stop mid print

A blank screen is a sign of a low voltage / voltage drop. The backlight of the LCD display will still work on a lower voltage, but the Arduino will not resulting in a backlit LCD screen with no text.

For me it was a bad capacitor on the logic board next to the 15A fuse for the hotbed. Having a bad ...

White PLA problem (solved, sort of)

Geeetech A10
Marlin 1.1.8

I purchased a spool of white filament from eBay and had to set the flowrate to 500% for it to properly print. Is this normal?

UPDATE:
It turned out the spool was partially deteriorated. A simple test is to bend a bit of filament. If it bends it is okay, but if it is ...

Re: A10 - Resets [Solved]

I bridged the hotbed fuse as it takes 30 days for parts to arrive in remote Australia where I live.

Printer is now functioning and Geeetech A10 printer works GREAT !

I noticed the metal clips on the bed were actually mounted sort of upside down in my view. It is best to mount the clips as follows ...

Re: A10 - Resets [Solved]

I disconnected all cables and removed the GT2560 V3 board.
So hotbed is not connected at all.
15A hotbed fuse was blown and has been removed.
I measure 3.7kOhm between 12V_BED and ground, so no short.
If I bridge the fuse the following current should flow: I = V / R = 24Vdc / 3.7k Ohm = 6.5mA
Diode ...

Re: A10 - Resets [Solved]

NOTE: Symptoms may have been caused by a bad capacitor on the logic board. Modding the power supply may not have been necessary. Skip this post for now.

I fixed the problem of the original power supply.

The step load of the hotbed or extruder hotend triggered the short circuit protection of the ...
